Warning: Disturbing picts at Farmers market in China

Please be forewarned!  The picts below include skinned dogs and sheep being sold at a local Chinese farmers market.  This is rural China so it is a source of sustenance for the locals and just their way of life.  But the pictures can be pretty upsetting. What do you really think these goats are being raised for?  I don’t see much goat milk or cheese out here so…

While we were passing by, I asked the driver, “what the heck is in that pick up truck?”  He suggested that I take a closer look.

IMG_8119     A dog farm.  Maaan…that was just heartbreaking.

And then you have your run-of-the-mill pork.  But to see it layed out with the heart and casings…yikes.
